Thick, smooth. Malty, with a big whiskey note. Coconut, mild dill. Real nice caramel malt. Alcohol is not obvious at all. Malty, toasty, sweet finish.

Surprisingly clean. Very mildly grainy.

Big, smooth, almost creamy. Clean malt all the way through. Nicely grainy. Very mild floral hop flavor, very very mild bitterness. A little bit warming at the end.

Damn fine smooth malty beer.

Excellent clean IPA.

Big, creamy, malty. Toasty, nicely bready. Mild raisin note. Not a lot of alcohol character, which makes this a dangerous beer.

I'll have a few of these.

Medium body, smooth. Nicely malty, nicely roasty, nicely balanced. Creamy coffee, but not assertive. Not nearly as fruity as the aroma. Chocolatey finish with a little fruit.

Overall Impression (1½)
OK beer, not what I expected.
