Amber, fairly high carbonation, low head. Earthy floral aroma. Medium body, big and malty. Earthy floral flavor just like the aroma. The Picts chose extermination over betraying the secrets of heather ale...if their beer was anything like this one, I can understand why.

Deep dark red, moderate head. Hugely roasty and malty aroma. Light-medium body, fizzy. Lots of tasty roasted and caramel malts. Hint of diacetyl in the background. Some herbal hop flavor precedes the roasty malty finish.

Golden, hazy, moderate carbonation and head. Smells Belgian. Light body, spicy-herbal flavor on top of the berries. Fizzy and sweet. Does the Belgian character come from the spices, or did they use a Belgian yeast? "Ingredients: Malted barley bree, Wheat, Gooseberries, Bog myrtle, Meadowsweet, Hops."
