The original Feierling brewery operated from 1877 to 1981 across the street from the current one. They've been brewing organic beer since 1999, with a six-day fermentation and three or four weeks of lagering. The Inselhopf is brewed year-round, and they also have a seasonal beer, which they were out of during my April 2008 visit. (And again in September 2008.) They also offer Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier and Ganter Alkoholfrei in bottles.
