Originally located in Denmark WI, Green Bay Brewing moved to downtown Green Bay's "Brewery District" in 1999. More to the point, they're just three blocks from my old house, and I've downed quite a few enjoyable pints there! They changed their name in 2009.

Hinterland also operates a restaurant at 222 East Erie Street in Milwaukee WI.

Hinterland relocated to a much larger facility in 2017, located at South Ridge Road and Lombardi Avenue.

Reddish, hazy, moderate carbonation and head. Blast of caramel malt aroma followed by a BLAST of spicy hops. Big body, richly malty, big hop flavor and bitterness. Fairly oaky, but not as oaky as the Marzenbier. Mildly warming. What will it taste like in 2002?

They call it a "Double Pilsner", but it makes for a nice Maibock.
