Gordon Biersch is one of my Bay Area favorites, although I prefer the original one in Palo Alto. This one is seriously yuppified; weekday afternoons are nice because nobody's there. Excellent German-style lagers.
Directions: Gordon Biersch is on the corner where Harrison ends at the Embarcadero, in the shadow of the Bay Bridge. You can't miss the big grain silo out front.
