Bright golden — if you don't pour out the yeast like I did. Nice thick head. Malty, sweet aroma, with a nice dose of Belgian spiciness. Medium-big body, fairly fizzy. Malty and sweet. Very spicy and very warming. Sweet hot finish. This beer would probably benefit from a year or two in the cellar.

"Bottled 2004." This is probably an amazing beer, but it's going to take time — a lot of time — to mellow out. I'm definitely going to buy more and cellar it for a couple of years.
