Overall Impression Gusher! Golden, hazy, massive carbonation. Lots of yeast in the second pour. Sour banana aroma. Thick, tangerine flavor, bananas. Bitter and acidic at the end. Yeasty.
Overall Impression Deep golden translucent. Thick dense head. Clean fruity aroma. Medium body, mildly fizzy. Malty and fruity, with an unfortunately high level of diacetyl. Dying alcoholic buttery finish.
Overall Impression "10°", which in this case means a starting gravity of 1.100. Yellow opaque. Thick creamy head. Clean, spicy aroma. Light-medium body. Intensely fizzy and intensely alcoholic and intensely spicy and quite yeasty and rather bitter at the end. Phenomenally strong and complex beer.
Overall Impression Huge gusher! (Which may have something to do with the beer freezing on its journey from Oregon to Wisconsin.) Brown opaque, with a big dense head. Lots of toasty malt aroma, very spicy and alcoholic. Medium body, creamy yet fizzy. Intensely warming. Richly malty, sweet and toasty. Spicy drying alcoholic finish. Real tasty beer. Think "Belgian Doppelbock".
Mouthfeel (10) Big body, creamy yet fizzy. Lots of sweet malt, roasty and bitter. Spices like ginger and cinnamon, and just a hint of banana. Warming finish. A little Brettanomyces and a little sourness.
Overall Impression (3) Very complex and very unusual beer!
