According to Reuters: "Backus y Johnston, Peru's largest brewery, signed a four-year, $50 million loan agreement with J.P. Morgan that will restructure the beer maker's liabilities" in April 1996.

      Golden, fizzy. Sweet, malty aroma. Malty-sweet, OK body, some hops late. "The Peruvian Budweiser"...but it has more character than Budweiser. No glass...swigged straight from the bottle. Thanks to Linda Armour of The Inner Label for the beer!
