The brewery is actually located in an alley that runs between Heinrichstrasse and Josefstrasse, about 600 meters from the Hardbrücke train station. Small glasses (200-ml) of beer are CHF 3.80, large (400-ml) are CHF 6.20.

Reported as closed in August 2007, possibly for remodeling, possibly for good.

      Amber-brown, opaque. Dense head.

      Richly malty, some diacetyl. Spicy-chocolatey.

      Light body, a little fizzy. Really malty, and quite spicy. Annoying buttery note. Fizzy, dark caramel, mildly buttery finish.

      Very light body, fizzy. Really roasty, with a nice maltiness behind. Sweet roasty clean finish.
