      Amber, high carbonation, low head. Big mercaptan odor! Bit of malt behind that. Caramel malt, high carbonation. Some bitterness late, along with some astringency.

      Overall Impression
      Gusher! Mad dash to the sink! Golden, hint of amber, fairly high carbonation, big white head. Vegetal hop aroma. Malty, with moderate hop flavor. Actually not a bad balance, with a mild bitter finish. Some astringency. Jackson's Beer Companion says: "...the notion of calling a relatively hoppy lager a bitter has cropped up in Alsace, France..."
